Delivered work in southern Iraq — storage, drilling support and field logistics.
Missan, Iraq · 2013–2014
Halfaya Storage Tank
Durrat Al Khaleej completed one of the best projects in the south of Iraq for the Halfaya oil field, in favour of the Ministry of Oil / Missan Oil Company. The project started in August 2013 and was completed within the specified time and allocated budget, in 8 months.
Implementation ran in several stages, beginning with engineering design prepared solely by our own engineers, including all the designs and schematics the project required.
After the design and schematics were finished, our engineers began the procurement stage, importing all of the equipment and raw materials needed from the best companies in the world.
With design and procurement complete, the project team started construction — the final stage of delivering the Halfaya oil field project, producing an oil reserve tank ready for use. The tank was completed on behalf of PetroChina with a total capacity of 30,000 m³.

Nasiriyah & Basra, Iraq · from 2006
Weatherford Project
This is one of the most important projects in which Durrat Al Khaleej played a large part in the success.
The oil well drilling project in Nasiriyah and Basra — South Oil Company, Iraq — was carried out by Weatherford Oil Service Middle East Ltd. (WFT). The role of Durrat Al Khaleej was to provide logistic support for rig and equipment moving services in the oil fields.
The contract was signed in 2006. Durrat Al Khaleej was also responsible for all services for the workers, including accommodation and security guarding through the most difficult circumstances Iraq has been through, and supplied local workers from within the country.
The project was accomplished in less time than the schedule allowed — a mark of the commitment of DaK's workers to delivering the best service to their customers.
